Every brand has an origin story. Ours fits on the front of a jacket.
When Bizchit was still just a name and an empty storefront, the first graphic that landed was the SUSEJ bear: a big, friendly explorer bear with "Adventure Awaits" and "Since 2023" worked into the design. It wasn't focus-grouped or trend-chased. It just felt right — that mix of outdoorsy, optimistic, and a little bit playful that says you're not staying put, you're going somewhere.
It became the first product we ever pushed live, and it's still the design people recognize us by.
Why a bear, why "Adventure Awaits"?
Bears mean a lot of different things depending on who you ask — strength, independence, protection, a connection to wild places. Our bear isn't snarling or posing. He's geared up and heading out. That's the whole point of the phrase underneath him.
"Adventure Awaits" isn't about quitting your job and hiking a mountain tomorrow (though if you do, send photos). It's about the smaller adventures too: the road trip you finally take, the trail five minutes from your house you've never walked, the new city, the new gig, the first set, the first stream. The design works because almost everybody has a next thing they're quietly excited about — this bear is just wearing that feeling on the outside.
It's also why the design has legs beyond one product. It reads just as well on a jacket you throw on to head out the door as it does on a tote you carry every single day.
The SUSEJ line today
The jacket that started it: SUSEJ lives front and center on our zip-up windbreaker — the Independent Trading Co. EXP54LWZ, printed with DTF for crisp, detailed color that can actually hold an illustration like this. It's lightweight, packable, and made for in-between weather and on-the-go days. Sizes XS–3XL, starting at $54.98. It's the piece that proved Bizchit could take a detailed graphic and turn it into something you'd actually wear out.
The premium hoodie version: When we built our heavyweight hoodie line, SUSEJ was a no-brainer to include. Same bear, printed with DTFlex on the Stanley/Stella Unisex Sculpted Heavyweight Hoodie — 15 oz/yd², 80% organic cotton and 20% recycled polyester, black, sizes XS–3XL. If the windbreaker is for heading out, the hoodie is for settling into a cold night around a fire and still feeling ready for whatever's next.
The totes: Not every adventure needs a jacket. The SUSEJ All-Over Print Tote ($20.24, 15" x 15") wraps the artwork around a bag built for markets, books, and beach days, while the classic natural Tote Bag ($11.71) keeps it simple and everyday-ready. Both get more compliments at checkout lines than we expected — bears will do that.
How people wear it
The jacket layers clean over a plain tee or one of our graphic tees — Raven Moon underneath SUSEJ is a combo we've seen more than once and it just works: night-sky energy on the inside, daytime explorer on the outside. The hoodie is the campfire and early-flight uniform. And the totes have quietly become the grocery-run, record-store, and farmers-market regulars. That's the best sign a design is working: it doesn't sit in a closet waiting for a special occasion, it becomes part of the routine.
Printed when you order it
Like everything at Bizchit, every SUSEJ piece is printed to order — made for you, in your size, when you order it. No warehouse of stale stock, no mass run that ends up in a landfill. Wash cold, inside out, and hang dry when you can, and that bear will stay bold trip after trip.
Join the Bizchit email list and get 5% off your first order — and through October 12, joining the list also enters you in our hoodie giveaway, and yes, SUSEJ is one of the seven hoodie designs the winner can pick.
